How to Prepare Form I-765 Filing Fee

Form I-765 must be accompanied by the filing fee. This payment procedure is necessary for the most of the applicants.

1. The set payment for I-765 Form is $410. However, USCIS fees may change periodically so it is recommended to check it by visit a USCIS website.
2. There are exceptional categories that are not required to pay. 3. Renewal application does not require payment for the Citizen of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau, granted withholding of deportation, dependent of certain foreign government, international organization, or NATO personnel, adjustment applicant who applied after July 30, 2007.
4. Dependent of certain foreign government, international organization, or NATO personnel don’t need to pay a service charge.
5. If a person is requesting a replacement EAD under the adjustment applicant who applied after July 30, 2007 category, then the full filing fee should be payed. Biometric payment isn’t required.
6. If there is a card error that is not USCIS error a person should fill out a new I-765 and pay again a filing fee. If this is a USCIS error, a new blank I-765 form and fee are not required. In this case a person must approve his or her last employment authorization request by a written email with the invalid card to the Service Center of National Benefit Center.
7. The check or money order that accompanies a fillable form must be accrued by the financial institution in the United States and must be payable in U.S. currency. It is necessary to make the check or money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Don’t use abbreviations while preparing a check. Instead, write a full name, for example ‘U.S. Department of Homeland Security’.
